The Neurospirituality Lab is dedicated to pioneering the intersection of neuroscience and spiritual experience, advancing human understanding of consciousness, well-being, and transcendence through rigorous scientific inquiry and innovative research.
We conduct groundbreaking, world-class research in The Neurospirituality Lab on the neuroscience of spiritual behavior and experience. Our goal is to generate medical innovation by understanding the relationships between human brain circuits and spirituality.
Dr. Michael Ferguson, PhD, is the Director and Principal Investigator for the Neurospirituality Lab.
Morgan Healey, BSc, is the Lab Manager for the Neurospirituality Lab.
Yaser Sánchez Gama, MD, is a medical doctor trained in Mexico, and a senior lab researcher.
Mengyuan Jessy Ding, MD, is a neurologist trained in China, and a senior lab researcher.
Dr. Isaiah Kletenik, MD, is a cognitive neurologist dually specialized in medicine and religion.
Chase Bourbon is an undergraduate research assistant at Harvard College.
